Augnablik – the blink of an eye

Their peculiar world is not visible: Two solitary and cranky goblins cross each others´ way in an empty and unreal landscape, far from any signs of civilisation. Referring to early Icelandic folk tales, “augnablik” develops into a lyrical journey where anything may come into sight and vanish in the blink of an eye. The tender and dreamlike reunion leaves both characters bewildered in their own world. “augnablik” was nominated for the best experimental film at the KunstFilm Biennale Cologne in 2005.
